Asian Pork Salad with Sesame Dressing

Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork slices to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Tip: Do not overcrowd the skillet to ensure even cooking. Remove pork from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.

In a small bowl, whisk together remaining 1 tbsp sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic to make the dressing.

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, carrots, cucumbers, and green onions. Add the sliced pork to the salad bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat. Tip: Add dressing just before serving to keep greens crisp.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish. Tip: Toast sesame seeds for 1-2 minutes in a dry skillet for extra flavor.

Notes

  • Serve it in a hollowed-out pineapple for a tropical twist.
